C.F. Bielman of Detroit has finally secured the post office department a 4 year contract for the service of his little steamer FLORENCE B. in the delivery of mail on the Detroit River. The compensation is to be $18 a day for time when the boat is actually employed. The FLORENCE B. was recently fitted up so that she is especially suited to the work.
