M.A. Hanna & Co., who have large quantities of coal as well as ore to move for the balance of the year, have secured themselves as regards a part of the business of chartering outright two wooden tows, which they will operate for the rest of the season. It was announced a few days ago, that they had secured from W.C. Richardson of Cleveland the steamer OUTHWAITE and consort BARR at $25,000, and now they have taken also the steamer A.A. PARKER and consort B.W. PARKER from Mr. A.A. Parker of Detroit. The price paid in this latter case is said to be $35,000. The two PARKER's will carry about 4,500 tons per trip.
