THE "W. G. GARDNER." -- A beautiful tug bearing this name made her appearance in our harbor on Thursday last from Cleveland. She was built at the yard of Messrs. Quayle & Martin of that city, and is owned, commanded and sailed by Capt. George Hand, an old and experienced commander. Her engines which are of great power (17 x 18 inches) are also of Cleveland manufacture, fully enabling her to compete with any tug of her tonnage afloat.
