TWO STEAMERS SOLD.
PEARL and GAZELLE Knocked Down to Part Owners at Public Auction.
The excursion steamers PEARL and GAZELLE were sold at public auction by deputy United States Marshal Kane this morning at 10:30 o'clock.
Their sale was the outcome of a libel held by the Rochester & Pittsburg Coal & Iron Company for $1,700. The PEARL was bought by Henry A. Menker, the confectioner, for $1030 and the GAZELLE went to Hugo V. Schauroth. It is said these men were part owners of the two boats.
