Shipwreck.--The Painesville Telegraph, of the 1st inst. received last Saturday, states that on the Wednesday night previous to that date, a report reached that place, that the schr. Erie went on shore at Cleaveland, in a gale, having on board a large amount of merchandise and salt, principally belonging to merchants on the canal line. The vessel filled before any of the articles could be removed. The amount of property lost is estimated at $10,000.
