The yacht building for Mr. J.E. McIntire at Samuel Gibson's boat yard was successfully launched on Saturday. She is 60 ft. overall, with 12 ft. beam and 4 and half ft. hold. Her engine is 10 by 10 and her boiler 7 by 4 ft. They were built by Sutton & Wood. The craft is a very fine looking one, and when finished in the good style she is intended to be will be a credit to both builder and owner. Her name is the CLARA A. MCINTIRE. Other work in progress at Gibson's yard is a rebuild of the tug NEWSBOY, to cost about $3,000, and the construction of a lumber scow for outside parties.
