Between Friday and Monday evening last no Steamboat arrived at this place, and serious apprehensions were entertained for the safety of those which were due. On Monday evening our anxiety was relieved by the arrival of the Niagara; when we learnt that the boats had been kept back by gales and contrary winds. The Wm. Penn is said to have had her piston broke, and otherwise damaged.
