The sailors on the schooner J. H. MEAD have quit the vessel at Sturgeon Bay, declaring that they will not risk their lives on the craft.

A survey on the schooner J. H. MEAD at Manitowoc shows that she will receive $2,500 worth of repairs. The vessel went ashore at Bailey's Harbor recently.
