At Captain Wheeler's ship yard, also on the West Side, a propeller of 180 feet keel is being built for Saginaw, Bay City and shore trade. It is to be named the SAGINAW VALLEY.

      The new propeller SAGINAW VALLEY, of the saginaw Transportation Company, was successfully launched at Bay City on Saturday afternoon. She is intended for the Cleveland and Saginaw route. Her dimensions are as follows: Length of keel, 159 feet; over all, 162 feet; beam, 30 feet; hold, 10 feet. Her carrying capacity is 1,002 tons.
