Oswego, Aug. 9. -- The steamer GOOD HIT, owned by White, Sprague & Kirby, of Henderson, is being converted into a steambarge at this port. She has received an upper deck and wheel-house at Goble & Macfarlane's dry dock, and a new boiler and the engine of the old tug PRATT, is being put into her. She will engage in the iron ore and general merchandise trade, between Cleveland and Ogdensburg.
