AN UNSUCCESSFUL LAUNCH.
Hamilton, Ont., July 22. -- J. B. Fairgrieve & Sons' new steel propeller ARABIAN was to have been launched here yesterday afternoon, but the vessel stuck fast on the ways. In about three weeks she is to be placed in commission between Montreal, Kingston, Toronto, Hamilton and Duluth. She will be the largest vessel trading on the lakes to enter the port of Montreal.

Hamilton, Ont. July 26. -- Fairgrieve & Son's new steel steamer ARABIAN, which refused to move when an attempt was made to launch her on Thursday last, was successfully launched on Saturday.
