Full Text

The bark CITY OF BUFFALO, which has been in Clark's dry dock for the past few days repairing damages sustained the past few days by getting ashore in the Georgian Bay, completed the same yesterday. The damages to this vessel were far more severe than first anticipated, necessitating the removal of her old keel almost entire, which has been replaced by a new one. Much other new work has been inserted, her bottom planking removed, and the vessel throughout placed in a far better condition than she has been for a number of years. - Detroit Tribune, 7th.
