Custom House Seizure.--The schooner Lake Serpent, cap.t Foster, laden with provisions, &c. for the Canada Land company's town of Goderich, on Red River of Lake Huron, was lately seized for a supposed breach of the revenue laws of Canada. On a representation being made to the governor, Sir John colburn [sic], orders were promptly given for the release of the vessel and cargo and she has accordingly been [returned to] the owners.
