Mr. Chilson was managing owner of the steamer OSCAR TOWNSEND, lost last season, and the TOWNSEND'S consort, the KELLY, will now tow with the MARQUETTE. The MARQUETTE was formerly the steamer REPUBLIC and was built in Cleveland in 1881. She rated A2 and was valued at $80,000 in Lloyds last season.
