The GIRL OF THE PERIOD is the name of another boat built for Captain Madden, and launched last week from the same yard. She cost $5,600 and is of the following dimensions: 50 feet in length, 11 + feet beam and 5 + feet hold.
The propeller SCOTIA, owned by Chas. Ensign, Esq., has been completed, and was launched yesterday from the yard of the Union Iron Company. - Commercial Advertiser.

The GIRL OF THE PERIOD is the name of another boat built for Captain Madden and launched last week from the same yard [Carroll Bros.] She cost $5,500, and is of the following dimensions: 50 feet in length, 11 feet 6 inches beam, and 5 feet 6 inches hold. On her trial trip she made excellent time.
