Port Dalhousie - The steam barge D.R. VAN ALLEN has gone on the dry dock, where she will receive a general overhauling. This boat was built in Chatham some thirty years ago, and was owned by a Canadian company until recently, when she passed into the hands of an American firm. Captain Thompson, who was her first commander, is still in command.
