W. H. Merritt (Schooner), 1832

Description
Full Text

On the 29th of September [1832] a fine schooner of 110 tons was successfully launched at St. Catharines. This vessel was built by Russell Armington for a company; and as a compliment to our subject, was named the W.H. MERRITT, a name which, we believe, is held by one on the canal to the present day.
