The schooner ERIE AND ONTARIO left Colchester, on Lake Erie, on the evening of June 23rd, and arrived at Prescott on the 27th, after being detained two days on the Welland Canal. "This is, we believe," says the Prescott Herald, "the shortest passage on record."
