The new steamer G. A. TOMLINSON was successfully launched at Lorain Saturday. The TOMLINSON is being built for Capt. J. J. H. Brown of Buffalo, and her master will be Capt. George Stevenson of Buffalo, who is in charge of the steamer WILLIAM TRUESDALE. The TOMLINSON will have a capacity of 10,000 tons. She is 524 feet long; 54 feet beam and 30 feet deep. She will go into commission next month.
