FAIRY QUEEN " documentation
      A small steamer built by Garside at Toronto, sold to B. W. Gossage for $1,000, the vessel is to be transported overland on two flat cars, and relaunched at Bell Ewart where she will run from Orillia to Winshago Mills on the Severn,( two miles from Muskoka Falls). The FAIRY QUEEN had been used as a small ferry between Toronto & the Toronto Islands last year.

FAIRY, was later rebuilt as the CARRIE ELLA by D. L. Sanson of Orillia in 1870, and was commanded by Capt. Peter Lyons and later by his son Capt. O. H. Lyons of Barrie, until 1878

CARRE ELLA, "First Of The Propeller Driven Vessels" on Lake Simcoe or Couchiching, brought from Toronto in 1865 and lengthened at Barrie. Her remains are thought to lay under the restaurant in the Town Park at Orillia

CARIELLA, steamer of 19 tons register, 29 tons gross, a screw propeller built in 1869 at Barrie Ont. by D. L. Sanson of Orillia. 70 X 12 X 4.5. D. L. Sanson is listed as the owner.
