The Maritime History of the Great Lakes
Chief Justice Robinson (Steamboat), 1 Dec 1842

Description
Full Text

Capt. Richardson's new steamer Chief Justice Robinson, as we mentioned in our last, made her trial trip from this place to Queenston in 37 minutes, and returned in 26. It affords us much pleasure to state, that on Tuesday last, she made her second trip from her to Queenston, in 35 minutes, and returned in twenty-three and a half, at the same time the wind blowing a complete hurricane. There is no doubt but she will be the fastest boat on the lake. - Niag. Rep.
