Description
Full Text

The old schooner M. L. WILCOX, belonging to Thomas Murphy, of this city, which has lain at the foot of Walker street for the past six or eight years, ready to do duty as a lighter for stranded vessels, has at last been re-fitted as a full rigged schooner and will soon clear to see if she can do better than as a lighter, at which she hardly earned enough to buy a pot of paint. The WILCOX is a relic of the old Welland canal fleet, but is a good carrier and ought to make something at coal and lumber.
