Capt. T.W. Kirby launched his new steamer H.S. PICKANDS at Grand Haven Wednesday. She is 175 feet keel, 200 feet over all, 32½ feet beam and 14½ feet depth of hold. She will replace the ACKLEY which was lost on Lake Michigan November 18 last.
