The new schooner CELTIC, #39, which will soon be launched at Davidson's shipyard, Bay City, will make the 10th vessel turned out of the yards during the past year.

West Bay City, Mich., Sept. 25 - The -The schooner CELTIC was launched from Davidson's yard, Tuesday afternoon. The CELTIC is the property of the Davidson Transportation Company and will be commanded by Capt. George Starkey. She is 190 feet keel, 35 feet beam 13 ½ feet depth of hold. It is estimated that she will carry 900,000 feet of lumber or 55,000 bushels of grain. The CELTIC makes the tenth vessel launched by Capt. Davidson this season.
