The Marine Transit Co. launched their new boat which they have been building at their yards at Marine City, on Thursday. She is built for a steam barge, although she will be used until fall as a tow barge, and the machinery put in during the winter. She is 192' keel, 204' overall x 32.5 x 13.10 deep. She has three spars, 5 hatches and is painted a jet black to the rail with white upper works. She has been christened the TOLTEC and will tow behing the AZTEC during the remainder of the season. The company will immediately commence work upon another boat, which will probably be launched this fall.
