Buffalo, N.Y., Aug. 21. -- The new iron steamer J.H. JEWETT, is to be launched on Saturday Next.

      Merchant Vessel List, U. S., 1885
     
NOTE:-- the H.J. JEWETT is listed as a steam paddle in the Merchant Vessel List of 1884, 1885 and 1886, but from [my next list] 1889 onward she appears as a steam screw.
