The new steamship now being built at the Jenks shipbuilding Company's yards at Port Huron for the estate of William H. Mack, will be launched Oct. 17. She will be christened the J. B. SQUIRE. The interior finish of the vessel will be the finest of any freight boat on the lakes.

The big steamer F.B. SQUIRE was launched at 11:30 from the Jenks Ship Building Co., plant this afternoon. The launch was successful in every way.
