      Herman Runge notes

PROPELLER RESCUE. -- The steam propeller RESCUE arrived here Saturday morning from Collingwood, from which point she has for the past two years been plying to Fort William, lake Superior, carrying the British northern mail. Want of sufficient patronage has caused her, as we learn, to abandon the route. She will probably engage in towing, either here or on the lower lakes. - - - Detroit Tribune.
