The 500-foot steel freighter W.K. BIXBY was launched at Wyandotte yesterday. Mrs. Hugh McMillan acted as sponsor and a large crowd witnessed the launching. The new vessel will be operated by the National Steamship Company and will cost $305,000. She has been built to carry 8,000 tons.
