The new propeller CITY OF GRAND RAPIDS, built by Hanna, Lay & Co., and fitted up especially for the accommodation of pleasure seekers, is expected to arrive, at this place, within the next three or four days, and I am told she is a beauty. [small extract]

Steam screw CITY OF GRAND RAPIDS. U. S. No. 125743. Of 399 tons gross; 300 tons net. Built Grand Haven, Mich., 1879. Home port, Cleveland, Ohio. 125.6 x 26.4 x 9.3 Passenger service. Crew of 25. Of 250 indicated horsepower.
