The schooner MOSES and ELIAS arrived here a few days since from Montreal, bringing, among other articles, 105 barrels mackerel, direct from Halifax, to the house of Brownlee, Peendleton & Co. These mackerel were shipped from Halifax by Messrs. Fairbanks & Alison, and re-shipped at Montreal. They are a very prime article, and after payment of duties to the amount of about 62c per barrel, can be afforded in this market for $6:50 per barrel
