VAROIUS ITEMS: -- C.W. North, of Detroit reports the Bark J.S. AUSTIN, Pine timber, Lake Huron to England at $5,500 gold for the trip.

The bark J.S. AUSTIN is to receive $5,500 to take a load of deals from Lake Michigan ports to Liverpool.

DEALS FOR ENGLAND:-- The schooner AUSTIN has completed a portion of her cargoof deals at this point, and cleared today for Little Sturgeon, where she will complete her cargo. She sails thence for England.

THE AUSTIN ABANDONES HER OCEAN TRIP:- The bark AUSTIN, bound for Europe with deals, which put back to Quebec in a slightly damaged condition, will winter there. The centerboard was jammed while outside; and the crew of salt-water seamen on board becoming alarmed, the captain was unable to do anything with them, and was compelled to put back. The trip has been abandoned, and the vessel has unloaded her cargo. She gets $8 gold for carrying the cargo from Green Bay to Quebec.
