NEW VESSEL:- The Chicago Tribune states that the new schooner JOHN S. WALLACE, built at St. Joseph, Michigan, by A. Petrie & Co., was launched last Saturday. She is clipper built, and went off the ways in gallant style. She is intended for the tie and lumber trade, and will run between this city and St. Joseph.
