tHE Cleveland herald of Wednesday says: We ask Lower Lakers, Upper lakers, and all other lakers to lok out for Charles Hickox's new clipper-built fore-and-after, the CASCADE, which is now taking in her first cargo, the same being for Oswego. Probably, there is not afloat a more beautiful specimen of nover architecture. She sits on the wave with the grace of a swan, and there are signs of life and fleetness in every part. She is from the ship-yard of the Messrs. Jones. She is constructed with a remarkable strength and stow away 3600 bbls. flour.
Her length of keel is 125 ft.; breadth of beam 25 ft. ; depth of hold 11 ft. Her capacity by Custon House measurement is 332 tons.
