MORE VESSELS FOR THE LUMBER TRADE: -- The new schooner E.G. GRAY, built at Ashtabula last winter for Messrs. C.F. Gray, Esq., and Capt. Thomas Simms of this city, has arrived in port, and is to take her place at once among the Chicago lumber fleet, for which purpose she has been expressly built. The dimensions of the E.G. GRAY are 94 feet keel, 24 feet beam, 8 foot 3 inches hold. She measures 175 tons, and was constructed at a cost of $7,500. She is to be commanded by Capt. Thomasd Simms, one of her owners.
