Schooner ALTAIR, sprung a leak on Lake Michigan, put into Milwaukee.

      The schooner ALTAIR, Capt. Zimmer, from Chicago, with 19,000 bushels of corn, sprang a leak off Port Betsey, during a gale last week. Her flying jib was broken away and main sail split. She was badly sprung, but by energetic and persevering efforts of her crew, she was brought to this port yesterday morning with from three to four feet of water in her hold. - Milwaukee Sentinel.
