SULTAN Scow, lost her master overboard at Chicago.
      Buffalo Commercial Advertiser
      Wed. Jan. 20, 1864



About half-past seven o'clock last evening, the scow SULTAN, at anchor off the south pier, was hauling in, when her line got afoul the wheel of the steamer COMET, and threw a sailor overboard, who is supposed to be drowned. -- Chicago Tribune.
