Propeller QUEEN OF THE LAKES, her screw worked loose on Lake Michigan, towed to Buffalo.

      Wed. Jan. 20, 1864


LOST A WHEEL. -- An accident befel the propeller QUEEN OF THE LAKES while on Lake Michigan on her recent passage down, by losing her wheel. She was fortunately shortly afterward fell in with by the steamer MERCHANT, of the same line, which took her in tow, arriving here with her on Sunday, and then proceeded on to Buffalo. --- Detroit Free Press.
