Schooner CREVOLA, ashore at Point Au Pelee. Got off.

ASHORE. - The schooner CREVOLA, owned by J. Dawson, opposite Newport, on the River St. Clair, is reported ashore at Point au Pelee, having gone there during the dense fog of Saturday night. An effort was made by two powerful tugs on Wednesday to extricate her, but without success. The tug ELLIOTT has since gone to her relief, but unless the weather continues favorable, it is doubtful is she is ever removed. She came out in 1848, but was rebuilt in 1859. She was bound for Toledo, and had no cargo on board. - Detroit Free Press.

THE CREVOLA. - The latest intelligence received from the schooner CREVOLA, ashore at Point au Pelee, renders it more than probable that she will become a total wreck. The unfavorable turn of the weather yesterday rendered her situation extremely hazardous, and it is possible ere this that she has gone to pieces. The tug ELLIOTT, which went from here to her relief, has returned without accomplishing anything, being unable to get within reaching distance of the vessel. The U.S. steamer MICHIGAN, which left here a few nights since, has doubtless gone to her assistance. - Detroit Free Press.

THE SCHOONER CREVOLA. - This vessel went ashore recently at Point au Pelee. The steamer MICHIGAN went to her assistance on Friday last, but was not able to haul her off. She has returned to Detroit and reports that when she left the CREVOLA had not suffered any serious damage.
