Schooner PALMETTO, lost her master overboard in the North Channel, of the St. Clair Flats.
      Buffalo Commercial Advertiser
      Wednesday, January 20, 1864

      Capt. S. Johnson, of the schooner PALMETTO, was drowned from that vessel on Thursday night last in the North Channel of the St. Clair Flats. His body was not recovered. His residence was in Chicago, where he leaves a family.
