Propeller MARQUETTE, collided with Propeller VERMONT, off Long Point, Lake Erie.
      Buffalo Commercial Advertiser
      Wednesday, January 20, 1864

      Above Long Point, on Sunday Night, the propeller VERMONT, from Lake Ontario
bound up, collided with the propeller MARQUETTE, bound down, sinking the former
vessel. Passengers and crew all saved.
