ON THE BREAKWATER. - A schooner whose name we did not learn was forced upon the breakwater upon trying to effect an entrance into the creek yesterday A.M. She was owned in this city and commanded by Capt. Barrs. Her cargo, which was lumber, will probably be saved, but it is thought that the vessel will be a total loss.

The schooner GULIELMA, that recently ran on the Erie Basin Breakwater, is fast going to pieces.

Capt. Pomeroy, of the schr. ELLEN WILLIAMS, sunk in the harbor, thinks his vessel struck an old wreck off the end of the breakwater, in entering the harbor. It is supposed to be the wreck of schr. GULIELMA, lately wrecked against the breakwater. We call the attention of the chairman of the Committee on Wharves, Harbor and Ferries to this obstruction.
