SPEEDWELL Schooner, and schooner ACORN in collision, with loss of ACORN's foremast
      Buffalo Courier (casualty list)
      March 17, 1848

As the Schooner ACORN, bound for Kingston, was passing out of our harbor yesterday morning, she was run into by the Schooner SPEEDWELL. By this collision the ACORN's foremast was carried away and her bulwarks badly stove.

SPEEDWELL Schooner, and Schooner ACORN came in collision at the Cleveland piers, carrying away the foremast of the ACORN and stove in her larboard bows. Oct.5th.(?)
