The propeller OGONTZ has been pulled off, and came into port yesterday afternoon. She went ashore on Peninsula Point, during the heavy gale of last week. She was towed in by a steam tug from Toledo. We have not learned the extent of injury she sustained, but hear, indirectly, that it is slight. ---- Sandusky Register

The propeller OGONTZ, which went ashore at Point Peninsula, a week or two since, was got off by Captain Palmer, Marine Inspector at Buffalo, on Monday last, in the following novel way. The tug B.F. BRUCE was used and made to answer the purpose of both tug and dredge. The wheel being put in a proper position, the earth was thrown up on either side, making a complete channel, into which the stranded vessel was removed, by means of heavy anchors and derricks. ----- Cleveland Herald
