      Picked up by Schooner SPEED, Capt. C.W. Nicholas, bound from Sandusky to this port, May 27th. at 4 P.M., the scow DANLEY, between Locust Point and West Sister Island, entirely dismasted, mast and bowsprit carried away, decks and cabin entirely torn up by a squall on saturday night. Crew all saved, but Captain Wm. Hannes badly injured in the head. ----- Toledo Republican
