      THE BRIG ARABIAN.---The brig ARABIAN, while being towed down over the
St. Clair Flats, ahead of the schooner IOWA, brought up against a sand bar all standing,
when the IOWA, which was under considerable headway, immediately ran into the
stern of the ARABIAN, and damaged her to the amount of $1,500, it is said breaking
in her taffrail and stern. The damage did not hinder the brig from proceeding forward
on her trip.------Detroit Dem. and Inq.

SCHOONER "IOWA" --This vessel, which was run into and badly damaged by the brig
ARABIAN in Detroit River, some three weeks since, has been repaired at this port and
cleared yesterday for Chicago.
