COLLISION ON THE BAY OF QUINTE. -- One night last week, the steamers NOVELTY and CANADIAN cam in collision on the Bay of Quinte, Lake Ontario. The latter was so badly damaged that she was run ashore to prevent her from sinking. No lives were lost. The accident proceeded from carelessness or obstinacy on the part of the officers of one or both.
