SHIPWRECK.- Capt. Stewart, of the steamer NORTHERNER, which arrived here from Sault ste Marie this morning, informs us that on Sunday morning he saw off the Point au Barques, a capsized schooner, with mainsail and jib set, and reefed foresail and topsail. The letters T.C. were all that could be recognised on the stern. There was on one on board, and the schooner had the appearance of having been employed in the lumber trade. ------ Cleveland Herald

The schooner reported to have capsized near Saginaw on Monday last, was seen by the steamer HURON, which made an attempt to tow her into port, but the wind blowing fresh, she was obliged to abandon her. The vesel is reported to be the J.G. SCOTT, a small lumber vessel.

CAPSIZED.---The schooner T.G. or T.C. SCOTT, of Cleveland, when off Point aux Barques, last Sunday, was capsized. She was sailing under full canvass, and before a strong breeze, and in the effort to take sale, was caught and upset, with all her sails set. The crew fortunately secured the boats, and made good their escape to land. She was going up to Saginaw from Cleveland, and was light. She will be recovered without difficulty, although some of her rigging has been stolen by fishing boats. The crew were brought down to this city by the HURON. ----- Detroit Tribune
