SARATOGA Schooner, loaded with salt, sprung a leak and put into Sodus, Lake Ontario. Property loss $500

We learn that the schooner SARATOGA, bound from this port to Hamilton, put in to Sodus Bay yesterday, in a sinking condition. She had on 1,000 bbls of salt, and is reported to have grounded between the Sodus piers.----Oswego Journal
