      COLLISION ON THE LAKE.---A collision occurred Monday morning, between the hours of one and two o'clock between the schooner N.M. STANDART and the propeller BRUNSWICK. The propeller was bound from Toledo to Buffalo; when near Kelly's Island she was struck aft the wheel house, and sustained considerable damage. The schooner running eight to ten miles an hour, was immediately brought to, the fore-rigging was damaged, her cut-water shivered to pieces, and the vessel generally damaged to the amount of from $500 to $800. The schooner immediately put in to this port for repairs. -- Cleveland Herald
